Hello all,
First off, I'll have to apologise for the almost absence of involvement from IMC-South Africa in the process building towards the conference in Dakar next year. Limited internet access means that IMC-SA activists have difficulty tracking debates conducted over email. While we reserve comment regarding the conceptualisation of the tour until we've properly reviewed the IRC records, any initiative to spread independent news centres throughout the continent deserves our attention.
Indymedia South Africa would like to express interest in sending the full complement of 3 delegates to the conference. I'm not certain on what the extent of their responsibilities in Dakar will be but I trust the IRC records will assist in clarifying this issue.
Until we are able to collectively discuss the tour and conference, I am only able to flag our interest in the initiative. I hope this is satisfactory for the tour organisers to pursue their funding prospects with.
In solidarity and on behalf of IMC-SA
Nicolas

>-6 volunteer activists with an experience in the indymedia network process and

>or a network working group in which they have been involved in.
>-The three approved african and the two semi-african imcs via South Africa,
>Nigeria Ambazonia, Canaries and Madiaq have space for three(3) delegates each;
