[Imc-africa] Making indymedia Happen in Africa

hi val and all Africa IMCs and forming IMCs, 

Nice to hear from you val. Sorry for my little delay in getting back to you. 
I actually went on holiday with my family and went out from computer too. 

I am so happy to see your involvement in indymedia especially your concern 
for indymedia growth in Africa. if you take a close look at my first e-mail 
you will find some of my opinion on how i think we may go to acheive an 
everyday Africa IMC. 

But one thing i am proud of letting you know is that it is very possible to 
acheive out target of making indy happen in AFrica with our collaborative 
effort. But again , like i said in my last mail we have to be original and 
localise indy in Africa. There are lots of difference in  how indy works in 
Western world compared to our native Africa. You know much about Ambazonia 
and Cameroun than i do , and maybe you are also used to some other parts of 
the region but one thing is certain we do have lots in common and share 
common history and struggles. So i think we need to look well into 
localisation of indy in Africa first as we move ahead. 

Again , i will on my end be contacting as many groups as possible likewise 
our collectives too. It will form part of discussion from now on.  One more 
question that we need to talk about is do we really need everyone signing 
into the Africa list or just liasons from different Africa IMCs. And again 
what should be our focus line on this list . Should our local country list 
handle local IMCs organising and the regional Africa list to handle issues 
of regional concerns. I think for proper organising it maybe nice if those 
on the list should be liasons from local IMCs and forming IMCs so we can 
have better organising and be able to focus on regional issues with messages 
from and taken back to local IMCs. Maybe this will be a good point to start 
discussion on this list.
