hey /m,

thanks for your support of the Indymedia Growth in Afria Project.  I just
wanted to make a quick clarification:

We're providing a travel stipend but no direct pay for the Indymedia
Organizer -- it's still very much going to be a labor of love by some
individual.  We just figure that if someone is going to be dedicating
several months of their life to building and strengthening Indymedia, that
they shouldn't have to also pay for all of their travel costs.  But if
folks are motivated to apply for the money -- let me tell you, they'll be
quite disappointed.  The motivation needs to come from their committment
to Indymedia -- no one's going to be getting rich (much less make money
off this) we're just hoping to help stem the monetary hemorrhaging that
might otherwise occur trying to do a project like this without some travel
support.

But someday... I dream that someday folks will be paid for some of the
amazing work they do.
