Hello Valentin,

This is Iken writing from Laayoune. We are on our way to Senegal with 3 cars, 9
people all together. It will probably take us about another 10 days to reach
Dakar. Since we cannot enter Senegal by car we will take a military convoy
(transit) through Senegal to Gambia and enter Senegal again from the south after
leaving the cars in Gambia; unless you have an idea or a connexion to someone
that could facilitate our entry with the cars. This would be much faster and
less expensive for us. If there is no way, we will take a few more days to meet
you in Dakar.

Anyway, we are very up to participate at the conference and to contribute
something as BTB-Crew. There are a few things we can present: documentals (films
and pics about the Caravan, the festivals in Morocco, theatre, interviews) and
films about migration we collected on our way. We also intent to organisation of
a discussion or report about the migration issue in Morocco and a small
exhibition called “World Routes” (Routes du Monde).

In order to realise all this we would need a video beamer/projector to connect
to a computer and a video recorder for VHS. Our technix went back to Spain with
the rest of the BTB-Crew and is used for another festival there. I hope it is no
problem to get the stuff, if so, we will manage to find another solution, we are
already very used to technical improvisation!

If you want to put us in the program of the congress, please do that for the
second week to make sure that we are really there.
