Hi all,
Hmmm...quite some views and news back and forth. I think this is healthy and important, especially for a network like Indymedia. A big hello to my Kenyan colleague Onyango. I wish you well there in Canada and Ahsante Sana for your support. I recently met with Grace and we had some very fruitful discussions. 

Just to clarify...The 'confirmation' of my attendance is assuming that the ticket will be forthcoming. If this will be the case, then Grace and I will arrive on Monday 8th March at 1700 hours. But if for one reason or another my ticket doesn't work out, then only Grace will attend. But being a fatalist I hope for the best. What will be will be. But of course we must all play our different roles to reach the desired ends. Which is why we are really grateful to the people who are already in Senegal doing the 'hands-on' stuff and also the behind-the-scenes crew. But as my grandma says, "there is always room for improvement - its the biggest room in the house." Hopefully any future conferences will benefit from the lessons of this conference.
