[Imc-africa] Someone in Dakar please tell us the truth!

This is Frank in Cameroon and may I now speak.

I've been following the debates, quarrels and insults
(yes, some exchanges have sounded nearly that nasty).

For me it's no big trouble, afterall Inymedia is that
principally: people expressing themselves freely
without editorial control or government/institutional
censorship of any sort.

And as Ofege said, Sphinx keep your cool. Remember
you're not a saint or you thought you were, or someone
blamed you for not being one?

What may seem big trouble is the point Ofege raised
and I second him: can someone on the ground in Dakar
please tell us about lodging, feeding and movements?
Facts please!

I wasn't deceived I'll be staying at a "six" star
hotel in Dakar, the conference is not organised by
UNESCO by the way and the EU has pumped money into the
project. But I certainly am not flying into a refugee
camp in Dakar or am I?

I haven't saved for this conference and Cameroonian
(CEMAC) CFA Franc that I may not easily find to borrow
for the trip will even have less value than the
Senegalese (West African) CFA Franc. So is it hell
waiting for me out there?

Someone speak out and please hold your bullets until
the conference provides the battle ground.

I am coming in anycase.
