the 100 $ you are willing to donate is - unsuprisingly - badly needed here
in Dakar for the conference 
organisation. If everybody is okay, we would use the money for an excursion
to Goree Island, the place 
where hundreds of thousands africans were deported from as slaves. 
Recently Pres. Bush visited the island. Two days before he arrived 1000
people from the island community 
were imprisoned, once again demonstrating istruments of opression. 
The community invited us to participate in documenting the experiance and
the feelings towards Bush's 
regime. 
Your 100 Dollars converts to app. 50.000 CFAs, which would cover travel
expenses to the island of 20 
people, which includes the african delegates plus Dakar activists and
journalists.
