Hello to you all!  With reference to the above, i do concur with John's opinion. To avoid  hitches and any last minute decisions,we could air our views and give proposals on the next venue in good time so that we may have ample time for proper planning and implementation.

Speaking for myself and I believe Grace, we are willing and enthusiastic about hosting the conference in Kenya. But of course this is not just our decision. We need to consult other Indymedia stakeholders here in Kenya. (by stakeholders, I mean people/organizations that have shown an interest in Indymedia and have already been actively involved in one way ot another) In addition, other forming and established IMC groups in Africa need to make their proposals so that we can in due course zero in on the preferred venue. So my dear comrades, keep the proposals coming, and as Jay advised, let us not take too long as it is vital to start preparing early enough.
