Hi

I'm Peter from IMC-Cape Town, one of the collectives making up IMC-South 
Africa. We weren't at the Senegal meeting, but I read with interest the 
minutes of that meeting, and look forward to hearing more from the new 
African IMCs that are in formative stages.

Specifically, I am interested to hear that there is are people 
interested in forming an IMC in Angola. Angola and South Africa are 
connected not only through the criminal invasion of that country by 
South African forces in the 1970s, and equally criminal SA support for 
UNITA, but more recently also because the South African government has 
signed an agreement with the Angolan government to return 3000 Angolan 
refugees currently living in South Africa to Angola. This agreement has 
been protested by Angolans living here, and I am trying to make contact 
with the Angolan refugee community on that and other topics. I look 
forward to hearing news from the Angolan side....

Anyway, looking forward to hearing from other African IMCers.
