Hi

We wouldn't bin your email duncan :-)

Yup.

Yup, this is on my todo list. I have to redo the translation etc, so it may be a wee while. I'm also looking into splitting the wire into national/international.

> ===Violence===

Yup, the majority of these kinda posts that we would object to are already covered in our ed policy (racist etc).

> ===Innocent until proven guilty===

hmm, this could get very murky though eh. For instance we would be hiding 90% of the articles about the Waikato occupation. How is the Dow guy's safety endangered? I can see us getting really confused . . . we should have a look around indy ed policies to see how they handle it. Australian one's have lots of trolls so they could be a good start.

If they are totally random "Miss F from Invercargill is a dirty lesbian and must die" (as has happened) then sure, but I think that we have to be very careful where we draw the line.

And Constable Abbot's guilt hasn't been 'proven'. Actually he got off ;-) Any reference to him being a murderer might be considered defamatory (even if true). Although most of the country thinks he's guilty, so we'd get off I think :-)

Err, the article aint from the commercial media. It's a fake article attempting to incite racial hatred. Theres plenty on this site to keep us on our toes already eh :-)

Lots of indy's get this crap spammed all the time by fascists. I think it's a bit inconsistent to not hide an article about a Jewish-occult-kiddie-sacrificing-porn-ring but hide articles about dirty fags. This article is so silly it can't possibly be true, but I think that it's an exception.

This has actually been covered in depth by several media sources. Yes Dow suck (as do most large chemical companies).

Have a look at: http://www.investigatemagazine.com/pdf's/ap28to37.pdf#page=1

There were several demos earlier this year that were quite rowdy - I'd be keen to do a feature if something new happened. The link above contains the name of a group that would prob be worth contacting, they seem quite sane.

Wow it's snowing here :-) And by the time I finish it's sunny . .
