Kia Ora All,
                            Thanks to all for their very helpful 
comments - obviously no other IMC has a perfect solution, and we are 
grappling with the same prob's they get. I thought Finn had suggested we 
not hide articles such as the `fake' Thai posting, but rather append 
comments, which Duncan has done. That said, I thought that if we made a 
reasonable effort to establish the truth or otherwise of a posting, it 
could be removed.

So, the post mimicked a commercial article (but nothing on the post said 
it was from a particular paper?), and Duncan made efforts to locate the 
paper it came from (if it was cut n paste), and it definitely contains 
racist remarks. So, I think we have satisfied a reasonable standard of 
effort to say `hide it', and post a comment to the hidden article saying 
what needs to be done to verify it (like quote the paper it came from, etc).

As for the Dow - agree with the general remarks.
