Hi,
Received this from indymedia's newest spammer today on the national
email. I've written a response, but I'll put of sending it until he's
officially a spammer as he'll post it on the wire.

And any other "moderator"
This is a one off.
I've little patience awaiting e-mailed response to matters requiring instant attention.
To this end, I have tracked down the numbers of Brian Van Dam and Chloe Heffernan in the hope that they could provide insight. As of 4 o'clock today, they were both unavailable. My uncharitable mind leaps to bullshit coffees in Ponsonby while peace protesters in Jenin are shot in the face by Israeli troops and mothers and children are executed by US forces high on Amphetamine Sulphate.
But , as always, I'll reserve judgement.
Indymedia provides a global forum for ANYONE to air ANYTHING they wish. Hiding files is censorship.
"Editorial Policy" is, approximately, censorship.
I feel the need to drive some very stark points home to you, yet I fear I'm losing valuable time.....so here's the deal.
Clare, you've already commented with regard to the "Blair, you murderous shit" article....
I responded.
I hope you took note.
Further..........
Explain if you will (and this is a question aimed at all "editorial " personnel :
WHY DID YOU 'PULL' ARTICLES;..(explain individually, please)
(i) 4789 "Wakey Wakey World."
(ii) 4790 " Mohammed al Sahhed Saharf."
(iii) 4792 " Now What?"
(iv) 4795 "Dear Donald Rumsfeld."
I've resisted the temptation to make this request on the open forum.
Please honour that commitment with a genuine response.
Aside from Melbourne IMC, I maintain the freedom of expression in many countries across the medium. A-IMC has "pulled" more articles than the rest of the world combined.
Consider hard your response.
It might get published.
...and while you're there
I'd recommend posting yourselves as New Zealand IMC......casual browsers, on the whole, wouldn't have the FOGGIEST idea who or what Aotearoa is. It's insular. We need global. Casual observers will target main centres of population: (eg. NYC, S.F, London, Rome, Ankara, Paris, Moscow, Beijing etc, etc). PLEASE consider this alteration without bias.
This is a time for global accessibility, not indigenous sensibility. THINK.
We need traffic VOLUME.......
How do you think the hit rates of the aforementioned sites compare to say, euskal herria? Or, for that matter, thessaloniki, ambazonia or west vlaanderen.
Or look at another way; in a room full of celebs, would the bigger crowd be around ?.....Paul McCartney, or Paul Holmes?
And guys, I'm a cage rattler, not a barbarian.
Party's at Wyllie Road when this shit's over, ok?
Regards,
David
