TITLE: Independence For All

<P><a href="http://www.converge.org.nz/pma/4July03.htm">Multiple events </a> have been organised nationally leading up to the celebration of the US Indepenence Day on July 4. However, the primary focus of these events demands that there be Independence for all, and freedom from US Economic and Military Dominance. 

<P>In Auckland, there was a <a href="http://www.indymedia.org.nz/front.php3?article_id=9042&group=webcast">rally with some street theatre</a> outside McD's.

">Wellington</a>, 50 protestors picketed the US Ambassador's evening <a href="http://www.indymedia.org.nz/front.php3?article_id=8991&group=webcast">dinner party</a> on July 3rd to celebrate the US independence day. On July 4 in Wellington, Peace Action Wellington took its <a href="http://www.indymedia.org.nz/front.php3?article_id=9031&group=webcast">message of peace, justice and self-determination to the street</a>. The <a href="http://www.indymedia.org.nz/front.php3?article_id=9055&group=webcast">Statue of Liberty</a> was seen strolling through downtown Wellington with a clear message to for US.
