Hi,
Theres been a few complaints recently about articles being hidden, and
[apparently] nobody on the ed collective hiding them. Aside from a
legitimate password holder using it maliciously, theres a couple of
possible causes I can think of:
*The database is getting flaky. This can be fixed, not sure how though.
*Someone has the password and it using it maliciously. It would be quite
easy to get hold of the password, but the hiding is quite random . .
This is all quite odd, and even thought I think that the former cause is
more likely I think it is time for a password rotation - we should be
doing this once a month anyway.
I'm going to email *current* users of the password - according to the
wiki, just Kerry - a new one. We should start monthly password rotations
from now on.
Does anyone want to learn feature uploading + editorial process? It's
getting lonely out here.
Seeya,
