Hi,

Theres currently a bit of interest in uploading video to indy from
wellington students. Over the weekend I am gonna have a go at:

1) Testing multimedia uploading/mime support - see what can be uploaded
and what the "video" + "audio" story types will detect. [eg .ogg .mov
.avi]

2) Turning loudeye mirroring off - given the iffy status of loudeye +
our mirroring problems this should be the best thing to do [in the short
term anyways*]. Mp3's are still being mirrored an the three we have up
there are broken links to loudeye. Are there any new developments with
this miles? I'll have a look through the imc-tech archives.

3) Adding support for newer mime types [probably just .ogg, perhaps
.avi's I'll have to investigate]. Basically just getting the "audio" and
"video" story catergories to detect these.

Any help/advice/warnings would be cool :)

*I shudder @ at our next bandwidth report.
