Kia ora koutou,

A suggestion for making the newswire clerks job
easier - how about automating the reporting process?
IE When you click 'hide', you go to a page where you
can fill in your reasons. Then, maybe once a day, a
digest of hidden stories (title, author, article no.,
url, given reasons) is sent to imc-aotearoa-ed?

There could also be a button for 'discuss' next to
the 'hide' one. That one could maybe send its digest
every few hours.

BTW Did anyone pick up on my proposal that a hidden,
then unhidden article should be returned at the top
of the newswire (as if it were a new post) rather
than its original position to give it fair exposure?

Thoughts?

"How can you join with others, working to make a
better world - or even just preserve this one - if
you can't trust anyone? How can you fight for what
you believe in, if you think being active and
assertive means being an aggressor, an abuser? How
can you listen and learn, if you think being
receptive is being passive, a victim? In short how
can we heal the world unless we heal ourselves? My
motives for doing this work are selfish. I want a
better world."
