Hi,

The times are a changin with our logins. I offered to do a bit of spring
cleaning and admin for Cat and they added the aotearoa user to the 'kore' group.
This group has write access to lots of breakable things, so they are
only allowing me to use the login. Ideally I should have been given a
'finn' login, but there was much confusion and it just happened . .

They have created a new 'aimctech' login, which serves the same purpose
as 'aotearoa' used to. I'm rotating the 'aotearoa' passwd around, if
anyone needs the new aimctech login let me know.

Setting write permissions for the aimcstatic user:

Both the 'aotearoa' and 'aimctech' logins are part of the 'aimcstatic' group.
So these can be used to change the group ownership of files/directories
so that the aimcstatic user can write files to them.

Ive already set up a few directories, so this should be fine for a
while.

If you have no idea what I'm on about, read these:
