Agreed, does Dada have more sensible ways of searching feature and 
newswire archives (along the lines of what I was suggesting or better?)

I nominate Finn as design focalizer with suggestions from everyone else. 
In general I like the design of the existing site and favour keeping it 
pretty much intact.
