I'm sure that it would be possible, but I just don't know enough perl.
We really should move the calendar to a new platform - it's pretty
buggy. 

Part of that problem is that the tabled month view isn't the default
view, this should be:
http://active.org.au/sydney/calendar/?display=list&days=14

For some reason people prefer the month table.
