Ahh automation ;)

That´s what I was thinking might be the case. Question is
who is responsible for updating that database?
Also, I have emailed both dns (which according to the tech
wiki is its own list) and imc-tech about getting the
nz.indymedia.org pointed at the right place (cc´d to
imc-aotearoa) to no avail.
I went through some of the global lists last night and a lot
of them are spamtraps. Communications from people unfamiliar
with the global network´s structure are ending up randomly
all over the place - imc-editorial is a good example.
Once we have finished with AIM migration, convergence etc I
am going to have a look at the list ecology project and put
some work into that. I think it has the potential to improve
the effectiveness and transparency of global network process
in general.
Another issue that needs some tech/ ed work is the
global.indymedia.org site. It is meant to be the place where
all indymedia volunteers can participate in discussion about
issues like open-publishing, networking etc without having
to join lots of lists. At the moment it seems relatively
abandoned and the open publishing does not appear to be
working. I posted a proposal about improving it but it still
hasn´t shown up.
