Just to give my opinion in this awful discussion.

I was afraid of elections because it makes people lose their mind for =
power. I just read the site right now it is just what I feared.

1. We have lots of posts about one or another party.=20
2. There are lots of hidden comments on those articles about elections, =
resists, maria (some people call that troll posts but there is no edito =
policy to hide troll stuffs=E2=80=A6)
3. I feel the new features as an aggression. I don=E2=80=99t want to =
hide them but you could have thought to people with different opinions =
in the collective (ie: you could only make one feature with resist + =
Maria).=20
4. I don=E2=80=99t think I will work in the future for an information =
site that cannot respect the diversity of opinions in the movement. My =
main problem is that there are no discussions to solve problems. I only =
see insults, attacks and censorships. If you think that this is a =
political attitude, I think it is a dictatorship attitude. If you still =
think that everything is ok, just wonder why there is a wvl =
collective=E2=80=A6 and maybe some others in the future=E2=80=A6

Maria =3D Resists=E2=80=A6 If you ask usual activists people will say =
that Resist =3D PTB + AEL. Nobody consider it like D14 (where are the =
trosts ? ;) ).

I think you point of view is based on vague arguments, Turlu.

1) We discussed it for weeks and made a decision at the GA of March. =
Does someone clearly disagree on that collective decision ?
2) The lists like Resist or Maria are based on a political plateform =
that could be the plateform of D14 or some antiwar coalition.
3) Election is one of the way to struggle, like direct action, debates, =
demonstration. I don't see a major difference.

4) Politic isn't a "world of shark" in itself. Everything we do is =
political, especially as media-activists, and still we are not sharks =
;))). There's a difference between activists using election campaign and =
professional governmental parties members

5) We are covering news from the movement. I think Resist congres was an =
event, like other actions. There were 300 people and lot of things to be =
said, debates, etc =C5=A0 Why should we keep silent about it ?

Anyway, let's continue this debate until it's clear for everybody.

I agree on the form with Guido, take part with a political party could =
be very dangerous even if it's not really a classic party.
Politic is (and 'll rest) a world for sharks, the problem is that =
indymedia must propose an alternative to the politic and not solicit it. =
I believed that it was base of its foundation. And so after we'll take =
part on summit ??

Compare this coverage with bombspotting, D14, geen orloog,=C5=A0 it's =
not really sincere, we're talking now about a party which has a dominant =
policy, whereas D14,=C5=A0regrouped a lot of others ideas, parties and =
associations.

I know that we 've our own subjects of predilection, i understand Han's =
opinion but i understand too Guido's point of view.
Sorry to say that, but this feature is too much for me. I don't have =
anything against =C3=87 resist =C3=88, i think just that we should take =
more distance of all the political parties. =20
