We have not yet got hold of a space / tent at Shambala for the IMC tech
thing we are doing. Si (above) is trying to get hold of a dome for us,
but cannot guarantee it.
So I'm sending a call out for anyone who can please:
- lend us a big tent or other suitable structure
- offer us space in a known structure at Shambala
(we will help set up!)
Those of you doing workshops: Do you have your own space or have you
been allocated slots in other people's structures?
If we do not find our own space we can of course fill in any empty
slots...
If the weather is fine we may as well be outdoors!
Either way I think we would benefit from having tables / chairs!
=== Publicity:
Pru found someone who will do printing for us, but we will not get any
from that source by this weekend.
They have quoted 270 pounds to do 2000 A4 two-sided colour sheets
(including folding each into 3 and putting it in an envelope!).
I suspect our needs may be slightly different, but that gives us an idea
of cost. If we confirm at the next meeting exactly what we want to
order (sizes, cutting, folding), I can send them the information and get
a final quote for it.
Simon thanks for your images, I will try to get some photocopies done
for this weekend.
Could you possibly send me higher quality versions of the images offline
or put them on a disk? It would be best to have greyscale or colour
(not black+white) and very high-res to send to the printer.
He would ideally like them in Quark format. Does that mean he uses a
Mac? Could he read your original files?
