Hi,
Shariff, thanks for forwarding, I have something to tell Lorraine
I am a trainee Advisor in the Citizens Advice Bureau (Swindon) and I am
pressing for special training in relation to refugees (immigration). I would
be very interested in attending your activities. The CAB helps all sorts of
people in their legal problems without any money at all and 90% of people who
work with the CAB are volunteers (the do not get paid). The CAB does not
charge any money for the help they offer, and Swindon, where I live, is going
to become the 'dispersal' centre for all refugees, so the Swindon CAB would
certainly have an interest in what you have to say. I can even organize for
you a day where you can give a seminar to our management and volunteers, so
that we are all aware of the 'real' issues that have arisen as a result of
the latest changes.
Also, if you need accommodation in Swindon, you are very welcome to stay at
my place (very humble, but it's warm and OK).
I look forward to hearing from you.
All the best
Ghada
