The Living Room is holding its 6th Annual Benefit Dinner and Auction on
Sunday 24th November 2002, 7pm at Aqua Restaurant, Welshback, Bristol.

This is our major fundraising event of the year and promises to be, as
usual a most enjoyable evening and hopefully raise at least =A33,000.
=20
A surperb three course dinner and coffee is served and followed by an
auction of small and large interesting and sometimes unusual items. This
year items for auction include: Harrods Hamper, Photographic Session,
Set of 6 novelty mugs, 'Microlight' flight, Meal for 2 at Hotel du Vin,
and signed Casualty souvenirs.

All the money raised goes directly to help people living with HIV in the
West of England through our Respite Grant Project, Information services
and our joint working with other services to improve respite and hospice
services.

This event, close to World AIDS Day on 1st December, is also to raise
awarneness of HIV and AIDS, in particluar in the West of England. There
are over 100 new infections in the West of England every year and this
figure is rising and with over 4,000 new infections in the UK in 2001
the significance of raising awarness is even more important today than
ever before.
