[IMC-bristol] outreach- printing/ cube list and dates

I have been down to the cube to get the list for the
outreach project, Lucy has created a web page for it
and it can be found at
www.cubecinema.com/communitynews.html. 
Whilst i was there she asked if we had any idea of
dates, and i said that we were thinking mid-end of
Febuary, she  said that this would be difficult as
they are running a 'film season' during Feb. She
suggested that January would be less busy- So we need
to decide if we can get things organised in that time.
I think Ian said he was going to sort the dates, so i
leave it up to you.

i have also been getting some quotes for the printing
of the A3 bus map's, the best that I have come up with
so far is still around 95p a copy as there does'nt
seem to be much discount for bulk printing in colour-
I will keep looking, but at that price i think it is
too expensive for a mass campaign- we could perhaps
consider doing 10-15 for the city centre stops.

Whilst investigating the printing i also asked in a
couple of places what they would charge for printing
stickers, I asked about  a 20mm X 100mm sticker in
black with white writing on top.

The best quote for paper based labels worked out at
about £40 per 1000 but would not be waterproof.

Or there was an option to get vinyl labels, for these
there would be a one off set up cost of £20

The guy on the phone said these would be pretty
un-removable and that the laminated version would
resist being written on to an extent.

I think some labels would be good to stick up on
lamposts etc, but realise that we will probably have
to spend all the money we have on the cube thing. 
What do people think? can we afford to spend money on
promotion or should we use it all  for the community
news day?
