The Living Room launches westaids.info website
New information website for the West of England.
The Living Room has just launched a new information website providing a
comprehensive range of HIV and AIDS services available throughout the
West of England.
>From Cheltenham in the north to Yeovil in the south, from Minehead in
the west to Swindon in the east, this valuable tool on the internet
gives details of what services are available, where they are, what they
provide and when they are open.
Including GUM Clinics, HIV Testing, HIV Clinics, voluntary services,
Social Services, Health Promotion and other related services.
This website also provides some basic information about HIV and AIDS,
though this will be expanded in the near future. The site also explains
what services are, e.g. What is an STI Clinic?
Included on the site is a 'Message Board' for events that are taking
place for World AIDS Day, providing up-to-date information and posters
to download.
This is the first and only truly easy-to-use and dedicated information
and database website on HIV and AIDS services and The Living Room is
pleased to have designed and hosted such an important source of
information.
We hope to include regular articles on the website about treatments,
changing services, other information, issues and changes affecting
people living with HIV.
