i think, seeing as there's now a few comments debating the above article on the site too, its a fair idea to keep it up, so people can see that debate. it gives an insight into the working process of the site: that it is down to imc volunteers to use their judgement to 'hide' articles that contravene the site's rules etc.
for me, its important to ensure that the majority of the articles on the site at any one time are directly relevant to Bristol and/or the South West. so, i'd support hiding this person's postings in future where those articles go against the guidelines.
also, as a reminder, that anyone in Bristol/South West is welcome to become a volunteer: administrating the site is relatively simple, including the 'hiding' of unwarranted articles bit, but we need more people doing it to make sure that the more outlandish/hairraising articles don't stay up for long.
are we going to meet up at the i-contact film night on thursday?
this might be an opportunity for people on the list, particularly newly involved people, to meet up?
