Fwiw, I agree with this - either the Bristolian is allowed to post
regularly and politically motivated criticism of the Bristolian (no
matter how badly written) is also appropriate, or neither are allowed.

Let's face it, the Bristolian is now a political party so there's a
case for disallowing _their_ posts, or being seen to side with a
particular political party.

Well, I guess Bristol-Indymedia does side somewhat with the Bristolian
in its apparent views but I haven't seen a frank and open discussion
to admit that as the official policy.

(Personally I like the Bristolian's anti-council-sleaze angle, but I
was not too impressed with the candidate flyer I got through my letterbox,
as it did not seem to have a much of a stance on other issues.  Anti, anti,
anti, how depressing.  Now, if Indymedia offered a candidate and the
manifesto was that all major council decisions would be put to an open vote
at open meetings, or online, that would impress me :)
