I don't usually make many comments on this list due to the fact that I
live in Italy and err Holland .
But I do think this bristolian thing is worth a comment .
Before I say my piece I would like to say that I think your all doing a
great job and I
am generalising, even if their are a few little tiffs from time, i
appreciatte both sides of the argument .
I don't really think that the bristolian should be classified as a
Political party .
The only alternative to political parties is a civil list with common
goals, I kinda figured
that the Bristolian was something along these lines .
If the the bristolian is the ordinary folk of Bristol getting their shit
together and taking control
of their local territory then IMC Bristol should support them .
In fact it is important that all their methods and internal procedures
are 100% transparent Indymedia
should be part of that transparency .
If however their is skullduggery afoot this should also be reported on
Indymedia Bristol .
If some twats want to clog up the newswire with unsubstanciated shite I
don't see that as a big deal
the posts were not proper news items with links or even serious attempts
at articles they should be removed
for that reason. the fact that they were slagging of the bristolian is
not relevant .
The environmental committies in the area that i live, Valdelsa in
Tuscany , are thinking about organising civil
lists throughout the whole valley which includes about ten towns in two
provinces Siena and firenze .
I hope that Bristol will prove as a model for our fight against the
italian labour party (DS) also of the left .
The choice here is similar to the UK you get the tories we get
berlusconi ..
Good luck
Charlie ..
PS I reckon the stickers i promised should be ready by now , I'll ship
them next week ..
