Sorry to reply so late to this; this is more about principles I guess...

I do not believe that whether we are for or against a particular form of
protest, or whether we deem it legal or legitimate or successful is
relevant to whether or not people should be allowed to post and discuss
it on the IMC site.

If we think it's a bad form of protest then that should be discussed
alongside the article so that people understand this. (Then they can
apply this knowledge elsewhere on the Internet!)

I would however accept that 12+ such posts is probably more than IMC
readers care for. But I think at least one should have stayed up (I
don't know if any did or not!).

Also, I thought the solution regarding "things which might be illegal
and get us in trouble" was to ignore them until someone actually says
they have a problem with them. Discussing them on this lists confirms
that we noticed their existence and illegality at the time. Oh sorry I
see it's someone else's IMC so we aren't responsible for moderatation.
I'll just leave you with that reminder then anyway.

Good points, I hope they are on the site too. (You can be anonymous,
hence spam.)

Is that always true? Can you explain? Maybe they have the brute force
but I reckon the people have a larger proportion of cunning. ;)
