[IMC-bristol] Guidance still required

Dear All,

I am still waiting for guidance from other collective members on the 
issues raised. Since my private email to James Venables who has now sent 
several emails to this public list, his posts are becoming increasingly 
unpleasant (e.g. 'fuck-wits on high'). I am not enjoying reading this 
kind of stuff directed to me, so I think it better if I wait for 
guidance from others. I never expected a 'take it or leave it' comment, 
sent in private, to result in a public exchange of insults.

I am particularly disappointed that no-one has offered me any guidance 
on whether it is an invasion of privacy to write unsolicited emails to 
users who supply email addresses to the site. Or is it only appropriate 
to write to users who have supplied emails, say within the last three 
months, one month or week?

While this continues to be unresolved and there is an outstanding 
request to have me removed from the collective, I do not believe I 
should continue to participate in the admin of BIMC.
