[IMC-bristol] An Apology: About My Email

Hello BIMC & Crash,
I would just like to clarify the problems I've been having with my
email, & why I recently got so annoyed at it being further distributed
by IMC, & why I now appreciate that my anger at BIMC was misdirected.
Having done a google search myself I can see that this email is now
irreversibly in the public domain. The extent to which my email is in
circulation, & the extent to which I am associated with the anti-war
movement means that I receive huge quantities of poisonous mail, &
unknown amount of poisonous mail is also put out under my name.
There are certainly attempts being made to slur my name, but I am now
adjusting to that, & accept that it will now be a permanent feature of
my political life. I can also now see that these attempts to slur my
name are evidence of the success I have had, & am having upon those who
are made uncomfortable by such success.
I am also now learning that making flippant remarks in a public domain
as if I was in a pub conversation is not wise, as these remarks are
being watched like hawks & used as fuel for the imaginations of those
with a poison pen bearing my name.
I am happy to have made myself the target of these shadowy people, but I
am sorry to have misdirected my anger & energies upon all you wonderful
people at Bristol Indymedia.
Best wishes,
James Venables
