Dear Rob,
Whoever it is that did this is getting us a bad name and should know better.
There are people in the collective who do care about such things.
A little more thought is needed before the spray can comes out.
As far as I'm concerned there's no point creating bad feeling about
indymedia to members of the public before people have even seen the site!
I'm not against Graffiti per-se but any sensible person would do it in
places which are neglected, derelict and where it otherwise won't matter.
Certainly not on used/lived in/cared for and specially listed buildings.
Where it will annoy the very community we're supposed to be appealing to -
and probably get cleaned off anyway.
Clearly an antisocial thing to do and I'm sorry that whoever did it has
ignored the emails & hasn't done the decent thing and owned up and/or
cleaned up.
Hopefully the stickers will help remedy this problem.
One of our collective who lives in in Bath might feel able to atone - and
scrub it off - if you can give us the address.

Bristol Indymedia,
What is your view on graffitti??.
Do you think it's right to stencil a logo on grade 1 listed buildings??,
would you like someone to spray paint your property??? - I hope this has
you thinking.
I'm sure you would not like on your property so why have you sprayed you
logo (amateur typography at that!) on buildings in Bath?.
I've written to you many times and I think it's time you responded - or are
you too scared of the consequences?.
Rob Fluellen.
