[IMC-bristol] Site Update

right, i missed the italy imc posting.

re: solidarity: ok, but then there are loads of things i personally feel it
would be good to show solidarity with, e.g. the fallout from the latest G8
demos and thessoloniki - particularly injured/detained UK people etc. but i
wouldnt put that on the bristol front page, i put it on the uk site...

i know we've been round the houses a bit with links in the past - to link or
not to link to stuff - but as a rule i think it would be good to put changes
to the site out on the list for general agreement before implementation -
collective project and all that...

for instance didnt we decide - back in mist of time - not to have hard links
to schnews, ainfos etc. cos we didnt want to get lumped in with any
particular group?
not saying we necessarily still think that, seen as people have come and
gone since but we should try to reach some sort of consensus...

also, isnt this why we have the bristol-related guideline, for consistency -
if italy imc's hard link, then why not x, y or z... [...incidentally we need
to change the new cinema listing page asap also... at the moment it just
points to old screenings in london, we should get info off martin
kebele/cube etc]

anyway i'm not that arsed about it, and if theres a general consensus that
it should be there i'll go along with that of course - be interesting to
hear what other people think?
