thought i'd post to the list what i know of thats been going on re. media
day maybe others can do likewise...

ian pru and i have completed a mailout of letter and poster to 101 (no joke)
community groups

posters are ready for collection, any budding promotional people - publicity
drive this eve meeting corner of stokes croft and ashley road 7.30pm

as recommended by several people since the cube's skavengers veto (tech
reasons, not anything to do with skavengers, just not enough set-up time for
all 99 of 'em), malarkey have confirmed they can play the much-dilemma'd
headline slot on the night

kids indymedia action / creche: the deaf centre is fully booked out:
thoughts on kuumba?  they have something on there 10am - 2pm, but might sort
us out something - do i apply to them for a room?  hogge and gem of the
cube's kids will be around, plus anna&armin's so we know there's a bit of a
demand... wadda we do? dee (friend of margaret and the various jims, from st
werbs, some of you know her) has volunteered herself and her daughter to
help with this, and anna has volunteered her friend also.  spoke to bristol
area neighbourhood daycare re possibly borrowing toys etc.  will wait to
hear who and where is going to hold it first tho - also scrapstore i
suppose...

anyway
everything else ok as far as i know: let the list know if you've got any
good bad or ugly news on event preparations, and i guess we'll all see each
other at the Media Jam gig on Monday...
