INCOME
£500                     Greater Bristol Foundation

TOTAL INCOME = £600 (also potential income on the door @ £2 donation from x
amount of people)

EXPENDITURE

£200                     Hire of Cube (£100 of which owed to Mike&K)

£87.91                 posters, printing and stamps (owed to Mike&K)

£140.53 / £84.32 Hire of hall at Kuumba for kids indymedia/creche*

£70                       £35 each to the two crèche 'volunteers' - £5 an
hour

£100                    lunch (incl. food for kids)

TOTAL EXPENDITURE = £598.44 / £542.23 (depending on Kuumba)  (also potential
donations from parents toward childcare costs)

*full price = £140.53 but I have applied for a 40% discount (this is an
option set out in the application form for room hire, and then the
management committee decides whether you get it or not) which would bring it
down to a more manageable £84.32.  They said that it will be 'a long process
' for the committee to meet and decide, so we won't need to pay until then

Any advances on travel costs for workshop leaders etc.?! So far I can only
think of Hamish Undercurrents and Jeff from Cheddar.

Also Kate asked me to ask whether people would be up for putting people from
out of town up for the night - I assume people will have made plans for
out-of-town mates to stay but there will be a few more other people who'll
need sorting out.

Thanks for the bits of feedback re. creche - it does seem a huge whack of
the budget, but we do seem agreed that its good practice to offer it.  I
also like that we get to dispose of the bulk our masonic lucre by giving it
to Cube, Kebele and Kuumba...

I only hope it gets well-used.  I guess if not many kids turn up by 3pm we
could consider spreading a workshop out into that space and shipping the
kids into the cube garden for one workshop slot, or whatever to make more
use of the space??

anyway see you all, sorry to be bombarding the list with emails about all
this, but i want to make sure that we're all ok with what we're spending our
ill gotten gains on.
