[IMC-bristol] Conference on 12th July

Hello,

I thinks it's best to give a bit of background to this so as to explain
things.

The anti-war conference on 12th July was initially meant to be a
mini-conference, so as to set the stage for something more comprehensive
at the end of the year. We ended up merging this idea with a Latin
American conference pencilled in for late June, & as a result have ended
up stitching together 2 conferences.

Once the size of it became apparent it became clear we could do with a
media room. The problem which came up was that to have access to
computers we would need to open up a new floor & hire security & find
organisers. We could've been more active it sorting this out, but the
way this conference has been thrown up has created problems.

From my end, I've fallen quite ill (I'm going to have to take 2 months
off, apart from the updates), so I'm going to have to be rude, & pass
you on to someone else, sorry. I've got a bit more background & contacts
to give you, but I honestly can't sort this myself as I'm just not well
enough.

We have a mix up... Indymedia were initially invited, but then they
weren't, & now they possibly are again. So... we may have room to
squeeze you back in through a combination of a shared stall, & the
possibility of having Indymedia visuals in the main hall. Again, I'm
really sorry I can't sort this out myself, but I just can't.

If you briefly explain to any of the people below that you've been in
touch with me, & that you understand the mix up, & what may be on offer,
then things should be sortable. Anyway, we still aim to have another
conference at the end of year, & we'll make sure to have plenty of room
for Bristol Indymedia.

CONTACTS:

Mario (For the Visuals) 0776 5544618 or 0870 7755912
Ornella (May be doing her own Visuals) 0117 3730099 or 07814 903160
Donna (For the Stalls) 0117 3774674 or 07951 654530
Di (Also the Stalls) 0117 9426904 or 078100 78731

Best wishes, & hope to see you there...

James
