hi all

heres the final(ish) reckoning of money for the media day event:

INCOME
£500 from Greater Bristol Foundation (we must report back to them)
£100 from Black Swan benefit (havent received this yet... ask martin if you
see him)
£238.57 donations at the media day

out of the donations we took out the following expenses:
EXPENSES
£32.68 - kate: breakfast stuff
£11.20 - ali: breakfast stuff
£5.00 - malarkey: taxi home
£20.00 - ben & totnes crew: travel
£24.00 - kimberley: childcare for participants
£75.00 - alex: lunch...
£20.00 - ian: travel... no receipt?
£120.56 - pru: T-shirts

***everyone who has a tshirt and hasnt already paid up, owes indymedia £6
for their tshirt*** - this still brings it in at a loss unfortunately as we
calculated prices for 20x tshirts and there were only 15x - oh well...

PRE-EXPENSES
before we had any income, mike and i subbed b-imc £81.64 in flyers, posters,
printing letters, stamps etc., i've paid us this back with a cheque

we also paid the cube by cheque: initially we agreed a flat fee of £250 with
them (which is a massive discount for all day & evening on a saturday) but
when i went to pay, kate said that as it had become a co-hosted event and
the cube had helped manage it, she thought this should be dropped (!) so we
ended up paying: £150.00

EXPENSES YET TO COME
hamish travel - anyone that sees him remind him we can pay him this...

TOTAL
we had £364.05 in the account to start with:
but £300 of this was from schnews/sharon to go to iraq
mike and i added £50 to this and sent £350 to iraq, via a friend in london
and an american from voices in the wilderness who was changing flights in
london. we've had an email from al muajaha people to confirm that got
there - we've then reimbursed ourselves with the original £300

so there was actually £64.05 in the account to start with, which was
leftovers from the resistance conference which someone didnt claim...

the closing balance when the above transactions have all gone through and
we've collected the £ from black swan benefit is £612.84

of this, £250.00 in the account is from the Rob Newman benefit (thanks to
Popstar Liberation Front and co.) and is earmarked to go to iraq. this is
quite urgemt, and we are currently working out a way of getting it to them -
all suggestions appreciated!

so the remainder is 362.84:
so we've made just under £300.00 through the media day.

SUGGESTION
ian has suggested that we give £50 of the above booty to the Argentina
picquetteros tour. is everyone happy that we do this? and can people let me
know asap either
way, as if we are all agreed that we do this then i'll send them a cheque.

we also need to have the discussion about what we do with the remainder of
the money: whether we put it toward this community server or what...
