[IMC-bristol] RE Editorial stuff/ help needed

Hi all 
My understanding was that (in theory at least) we
share the editorial duties. 
I feel that rather than criticising Ian's attempts, if
we feel we can do better than we should do so
(lighting candles and all that). 
 
Re 'No pictures' comments- I went down and took a
photo of the tree protesters on friday and was going
to add it to Ian's 'bristol roundup' story- however i
still can't get the fucker to work.
(The original photo is added as a comment after the St
Werburghs story.) 

- It is a JPEG file
- I have resized it to 100x 75 pixels
- added it as a story
- cut'n pasted the URL of that story to the image box
in the features pages
-and hidden the original story

I just get a black box with a green square in it.

what am i doing wrong people? 

If anyone can sort it out that would be much
appriciated.
