[IMC-bristol] article hidden

I hid that one sorry,
My reasoning was that i had seen a similar story on
the UK/ Ireland and international sites.
When the story had been posted on the uk and
international site there was a spate of 'religious
hate' postings following the article as well as
condemnation about the fact that indymedia was being
used as a forum for such things.

I read a discussion on a editorial (either UK or
global) list which claimed that these postings were as
a result of the UK IMC site appearing on a free
republic e-mail list (far right american group) and
that it was a co-ordinated attempt to disrupt the
newsire.
I'm sorry but i cannot find that discussion at the
moment.

Therfore when i saw your posting on Bristol imc i
jumped to conclusions and thought that it may be the
start of a co-ordinated spam attack.

I also remember reading that indymedia was being
'unlisted' by google news a couple of months ago and
so figured it was'nt really 'news'.  

I do seem to have jumped to conclusions - but your
re-post has been left up on the newswire

Our systems are not perfect- but please don't give up
on us! and remember to make the Bristol/Southwest
connection clear in your articles.
