sorry we havent got back to you re. info stall/workshops
we have been including them in our planning sessions, and it would be great if kebele could do an info stall and also if bristle could help coordinate a workshop relating to rpint communications (magazines, newsletters etc.) i or john will come and talk this all through with you as soon as possible.
secondly, thank you very much for the £100 from the benefit night.
i did take a load of posters off ben and put them up, so it wasnt a total no-show on the publicising front but i do agree it couldve been done better...

Two things: first that IO haven't had any replies to my request of having an info stall at the community media day. we'll be up for running workshops, or talks, you'll say
Second: i'm sorry about lastFriday's gig becuase no many people came 'cause very bad publicity. I have been very busy organisng the ECA's AGm and annual report and i wasn't able to organise it any better and to do anything else. there were things like Venue not listing it, etc that we can't do anything about. In terms of publicity I have to say that i'm a bit disapointed with BIndymdia in general as I was aproached to help organising it by you and not the opossite. I was told there was many people who wanted to help and I said the main thing was publicity. I put a PDF of the poster that wasn't linked to the main article in the middle of teh web-page. This wasn't done so people saw the poster but so people could print it out and distribute it. No-one contacted me to get posters or fliers and all what was done was done by some of us (easton, St Werburghs, Gloucester Rd).
However, I have to say that as many other gigs, we kept expenses down to nothing, and waiting to see how much we have to pay for venue and PA's, we still have £100 for your project, which is not much but that at least is something.
I'll pass it on to you next time I see you (we can arrenge it)
