I suppose this is mostly directed at Ian as I think he is the main man for film nights.


i have nearly finished a six minute video inspired by 'buy nothing day'.  It is a romp through 1950s TV advertising to a very hypnotic piece of music by Phillip Glass.

Ian, you want to see it as I really dont know if its what people want fir IM film night?   It is a 300meg mpeg 2, 80 meg avi and I have done a compressed version of 10 meg but this is very poor quality.  Maybe I could e mail the 10 meg one to you if you send me your address, or if you like I can meet up with you and give you a copy of the larger file.
