Hi all,
I agree with Ian that the article should be posted back up. There doesn't 
seem to be much disagreement that the article was a good one, the copyright 
was cleared, it hasn't been published before and the argument is getting 
everyone wound up.
The decision to remove it wasn't taken in the spirit of backstabbing, and in 
my opinion nor was it about the content or relevance of the article. It was 
about the stated rule that IMC volunteers shouldn't post their own articles 
on the front page. The fact that Tony had left the meeting made it 
impossible to have the kind of reasonable debate I'm sure we would otherwise 
have had, and in retrospect it was bound to cause bad feeling. If Tony and 
everyone else could learn from this and not break the rule again then 
perhaps someone else could post it back up and we can put it behind us.
