[IMC-bristol] comments abuse

There seems to be a BIG problem with the comments spiralling out of 
control.  I have taken the extraordinary measure of hiding one thread

after receiving a complaint.

As a collective we may have to take drastic measures to ensure that the web 
site doesn't get taken over by these persistent trolls. If I was a first 
time visitor to the site at the moment I wouldn't come back,  not after 
reading some of the bizarre comments... Banning may be in order for some 
individuals who persist.  I'd rather we'd not have to resort to this but 
hey - what d'ya do?

What do other people think?  What is the correct way to proceed here?

What ever we decide I think we need to act fast - lets try to reach a 
consensus by Wednesdays screening and nip this in the bud now.
