Hello Mark & IMC,

I'm not defending Pauls comments & have publicly condemned his behaviour 
twice on line, but I would point out that Paul's Nazi comments we're 
posted prior to the demo, & since then his other comments have been 
largely within the IMC guidelines, although his personal crusade against 
Mark is unhealthy, unnecessary, & may constitute harassment.

I don't think Paul is on this list, as I'm sure he would have commented 
if he were. I think a good approach may be if the IMC volunteers were to 
contact Paul & to offer him to subscribe to this list, & to remind him 
of the guidelines, then maybe many of Paul's perceived concerns could be 
worked through here instead of publicly.

I also think the involvement & mediation of IMC volunteers is necessary 
because myself & Mark have become personally involved in this dispute. I 
myself am trying be objective, but he is a friend of mine, & he clearly 
believes I should be taking sides in this issue, & that's what limits my 
own ability to help us reach an objective solution to this.

This is all getting out of hand again and very nasty.

I accept that my previous postings means that a certain amount of 
personal attacks is inevitable, but now he is publically slurring me as 
a Nazi and appears to believe his crusade has rid the site of me!   I 
stopped posting as a result of comments from volunteers and to give 
myself time to reflect on my style and frequency of postings.

In itself this accusation is unpleasent but I am concerned that other 
more excitable characters no IM may actually believe him.  Calling 
someone a Nazi is a grave accusation and if others take this seriously I 
may be put in danger.  He has already threatened to put my windows in 
previously. Maybe I am just being paranoid?

I leave it to you all to decide how best to deal with this matter in a 
way that is fair to all.  I do not know Paul and do not wish to inflame 
matters myself further than I may have already with my publicly posted 
comments.
