[IMC-bristol] uk meeting & bristol meeting

hi all

as per previous discussions, four of us will attend the uk imc meeting 
in sheffield this weekend -  ian, mike and crash and me

seeing as we could have bought a small imc centre for the price of train 
tickets, and no one with a car could be found, we will be renting a car 
and taking to the roads
i rang round a bit and got us cheapest deal going, but still going to be 
£90plus petrol

as for previous uk imc meetings, it was discussed ages ago that the 
bristol imc kitty would cover travel costs to uk meetings, but am 
posting to the list to confirm tthat this is acceptable
it was felt that - particularly as bristol imc missed the uk meeting 
last year - it is important that we are represented this year and remain 
actively within the wider network

MEETING ALERT
we should arrange a bristol imc meeting now so that we can feedback from 
the uk meeting, and plan programming for the next few film nights
can anyone else make a meeting on wednesday 29th october (gives a bit of 
advance notice)?  or suggest a better date if two imc things in one week 
is a bit much (film night on the monday)?
crash mentioned a free meeting room above the miner's arms in st 
werburghs: would this be a good venue?
