Line up: Sounds fine to me. But then, if you've already sent it to the cube,
there's not much room for discussion is there. Maybee people would feel more
involved if you gave a chance for some response before taking the decisions
on this.

Publicity: Yes, we need more poster and flyers this time around. I am happy
to produce this, and we have £20 quid for printing this time around - kyra
paid for this last time, so at some point we need to reimburse that.

I suggest we aim for posters up 3 weeks in advance in key places, then more
the week before, and flyers ouit during that week.

It would be good to get some images from the films that are being shown for
the poster - can you do some stills and mail them to me?

Cheers, Mike

If its okay with everyone i'd like to propose a slight change in programme
for Monday October 27th @ Cube.

As some of you have been aware I've been trying to pin down Paul O'Connor
from Undercurrents to come and show some films. Also the cube have
advertised in their paper programme that he was coming...crossed wires i
 guess

So I've pinned him down now & he can come on this date rather than November
or December. So here is the revised copy that I've re-sent to the Cube
website. We can possibly bump the "WHY WAR" film to November ??

======================= An ongoing showcase of contemporary filmmakers who
are finding new forms of cinema to show resistance to globalisation
throughout the world. Come and celebrate Bristol indymedia 's second
 birthday.

Tonight's line-up includes a short community film from the KNOWLE WEST
MEDIA CENTRE http://www.kwmc.co.uk ; 'ON THE BUSES' - The story of how in
March this year the police illegally hijacked two coach loads of anti-war
protestors who were travelling to USAF Fairford. Recently they have won the
right to a Judicial inquiry; 'PRAHAHAHA' - An examination of how the media
act as an ideological block to demonstrations, just much as the police who
create a physical one ; + INDYMEDIA SHORT FILMS

Special guest tonight is Paul O'Connor from Undercurrents. He'll present &
discuss the latest ecletic mix of humourous, daft, eyeopening, serious and
downright inspiring documentary short videos from around the world. From
exploring the links between pyschosis and spirituality to stopping the arms
trade. Its time to stop drinking from the mainstream. www.undercurrents.org

of funds)) - PLEASE PRINT THIS

I enjoyed last weeks screening - i thought it ran well.

My only reservation is publicity - we need greater publicity to get more
bums on seats.

thanx to everyone who helped last week.

cheers
ian

ps- are you planning on doing the poster again Mike ? - drop me a line if
you need images.
