[IMC-bristol] calendar issues

Hello,

Just picking up on what Crash said in the latest saga about moderating 
the calendar. At present there are a number of events on there, which as 
far as I can tell are profit making events. Such as 'deadpunk' on 7th 
April, & 'Toxic Dancehall' on 17th. Does anybody know who these people 
are?

I think the case for removing these types of event are pretty clear-cut, 
unless were here to provide a free service to profiteers. But I think 
what Crash was saying is that he wants more help & input. As we've 
discussed before I want to keep out of actively BIMC moderating due to 
the extent to which I'm associated with BSTW, but maybe I could help out 
on the calendar? I would happily hide these events myself.

Also, there's loads of events on there again which don't have a proper 
address, including BIMCs film night on the 26th, which doesn't have an 
address at all! So I've put more quick comments at the bottom prodding 
people into sorting it out. It's so weird that almost half of people 
don't give enough of an address to enable people to easily get to their 
events.

Some kind of human condition maybe?
