The Merchant Venturers programme is all in hand thanks - James Garret (HTV)
has agreed to screen his 1995 MV film & introduce it, Rich Cookson
http://www.merchantventurers.org/ is also doing a short presentation +
talk and i've invited the MV spokesman Philip Parkes to come along as well
(although they've not confirmed yet)...so it should be pretty interesting
to say the least.

The film that Tony has suggested I understand is about the Freemasons. I'd
like to not screen this at this time within this programme as its a
different organisation and I think it could potentially be confusing for
the audience. I'd prefer to keep the focus solely on the Masons and not
mix the two up.

If Tony can track down this Masons film and can get hold of a DV/Beta SP
screening copy then by all means show it but on a different date
please. ( Also bear in mind we need written details of the film for the
cubes programme 6 weeks b4. ) Rich Cookson has kindly agreed to
facilitate any subsequent discussion on the night.

The running order for March is pretty firm now (Tom's filmaker Jani Roberts
- being the other film, if she can provide a high quality screening copy)
If people have suggestions for films that they'd like to screen please can
they run them by the list for discussion first so as to avoid any confusion.

The paper programme blurb needs to be done by the weekend, and will hence
be ffwded to this list.
