G’day as we say down in this part of the world. 
 
For several years now I have been tracking the movements of one Simon
Spitz aka Shimon Lahav aka Simon Lahav (amongst other alias). Hope you
could help me out.
 
Simon first came to my attention in 1992 when it was revealed that the
Czech Israeli, Swiss Israeli, German Israeli ect was running guns under
the cover of CARE Australia the same organisation linked to supplying
for spies to Canadian Government in Serbia during the 90’s). Spitz is
alternatively linked to Israeli intelligence by Victor ( I’m a dodgy
barstard my self ) Ostrovsky and the CIA according to Charles Sturt the
former head of New Zealand Serious Fraud  Office –as detailed in State
Secrets my own book  (1999 Howling At the Moon Publishing - see
www.howlingatthemoon.com)
 
In 1993 having embezzled NZ$ 12 million the gun runner fled NZ and
vanished, until 1998 when he turned up in Bristol. According to my
information he ran several air firms including Air Bulgaria, Air
Phoenix, and Ocean Airways out of Bristol which alternatively were
linked to two Russian mafia figures Victor Bout and Lenin Minin (as will
as Air Sofia) linked to guns for Africa operations based in the UK and
Osteen Airport in Belgium. The later using several firms such as Anatova
Design Bureau and Volga Dnepr which were like wise being used by the
British Army for UN operations ( and which are now being used by the NZ
Army for peace keeping operations in Afghanistan including UR82004 a ADB
plane with an arms trafficking record which is just mind boggling). I
personally hold a deep suspicion that this racket was also linked to
Colonel Tim Spicer of the Sand line Affair (using Air Sofia) and The
Guns for Sierra Leone ruckus (“with her majesty approval” – Tim Spicer).
 
It’s my understanding that your local press and HTV (reporting by Brian
Thomas Johnston) carried quite a bit of material on Spitz and his
cohorts, but try as a might I seem unable to find a meaningful email for
HTV news desk, Brian Thomas Johnston, or hard copies of the actual
Bristol newspaper stories. I would be eternally grateful if some one at
your end could procure any or all of the above – and if you know any one
capable of miracles copies of the HTV footage would not be turned down.
 
I’m aware this is long shot but as they say ‘you don’t ask you don’t
get’.
